The instructions given at this meeting are very important, even if you have served as a poll worker in the past. Poll worker training is mandatory pursuant to Indiana Code 3-6-6-40 and the requirements of the St. Joseph County Election Board.  The State routinely makes changes to Indiana election law and 2022 is no different.  For this reason, $75.00 of your pay for working is for attending a training session. If you do not attend training, you will lose $75.00. To receive full pay, you must arrive before the start of your training session and stay until the end.

As a reminder, St. Joseph County is a Vote Center county. You can now vote at the polling location in which you are working on Election Day.
